CTR Protection Services was founded in 1998 as a premium security solutions company that has since built a reputation around an extensive base of expertise, experience and resources to provide top-level protection and minimise security risks.

Being an owner-managed and run company, CTR maintains a flexible operational structure that enables us to rapidly adapt to the stringent requirements of clients and can cater to any location nationwide. It is because of this lean and efficient company structure that allows us to offer rates that are lower than the industry norm without compromising and quality service delivery and staff expertise.

CTR is comprised of a number of members drawn from a number of backgrounds and experience such as law enforcement and the military. These individuals are specialists in the field of physical security and protection as well as intelligence gathering. The agents that provide these specialised services have national and international experience and training with the competencies required to operate individually or as a team. All our guards are also thoroughly vetted and undergo continuous in-house training.

At CTR, our core focus is giving our clients peace of mind that they are getting the best security service in the market. To this end, we ensure that our agents are well-equipped with the best technology and gear to deal with any situation and environment.

All agents are equipped with state-of-the-art communication devices that ensure that constant contact is maintained between agents throughout any deployment.

Depending on the risk analysis conducted by CTR, all or some of the agents can also be equipped with a wide range of gear to meet any possible threat. The deployment of armed agents is often an option suggested to clients in circumstances where possible threat may exist. All agents are proficient in the use of side arms, sub machine guns and assault rifles and these weapons are carried in a covert manner in order to ensure a tactical advantage at all times.

All agents are trained to operate alone or as part of a team, however, the deployment of a team is always the most secure option. The size of the team that is deployed is dictated by the threat assessment and unique requirements of the client.

All personnel receive on-going in-house training in the following areas:

• Customer service
• Processing incoming and outgoing communications
• Communication skills
• Maintaining a healthy/hygienic/professional appearance
• Maintaining a safe and secure working environment
• Managing complaints and incidents
• Identifying, managing and defusing security-related conflict
• Writing security reports and statements
• Receiving, reporting and reacting to customer complaints within a security environment

In addition, CTR also has a fleet of luxury SUVs, mini buses, sedans and armoured vehicles for the transportation of clients, however, vehicles can also be sourced upon client request.
